Center & Institution

Addressing critical national strategic demands, including energy security and the dual-carbon (carbon peak and neutrality) goals, the laboratory targets the frontiers of global energy research. Its focus is on the formulation and decision-making of macro and micro policies related to national energy development.

The laboratory is dedicated to achieving breakthroughs in key data intelligence technologies for energy systems. Its objectives include developing comprehensive data resources for smart energy systems and establishing a foundational experimental platform for energy management and policy simulation.

The research agenda is concentrated in four key areas:

  1. Energy, Environment, and Policy Simulation

  2. Sustainable Operations Management of Energy Systems

  3. Low-Carbon Behavioral Decision-Making

  4. Smart Energy Systems

Through this work, the laboratory aims to innovate theoretical and methodological frameworks for intelligent energy management. The ultimate goal is to build a first-class domestic simulation platform for energy, economics, environment, and policy. We aspire to become a specialized think tank serving both national strategies and regional socio-economic development.
