On the afternoon of September 5, Professor Wang Zhongming, China Representative of the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA) and Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zhejiang University, visited the School of Economics and Management (SEM) for a BGA accreditation follow-up session. Members of SEM’s leadership team and faculty participated in the meeting.
Vice President Zhou Peng extended a warm welcome and expressed his appreciation to Professor Wang for his long-term support and guidance throughout the accreditation process. He noted that since achieving BGA accreditation at the end of 2022, SEM has attached great importance to the expert feedback and has been actively implementing corrective measures in accordance with the recommendations.

Associate Dean Xu Xiaofeng delivered a detailed report on the post-accreditation actions taken by the School. The presentation covered strategic planning, curriculum development, faculty development, research enhancement, and alumni engagement, among other key areas of progress.

Professor Wang highly commended SEM’s efforts since the accreditation and emphasized that international accreditation is evolving from an evaluation-based approach to a development-oriented process. He noted that follow-up and continuous improvement have become central to the value of accreditation. During the session, Professor Wang offered targeted advice on several fronts, including performance evaluation frameworks, curriculum design, implementation of the Continuous Impact Model (CIM), and the revision of pilot program training plans. He encouraged SEM to deeply integrate BGA's values of sustainability, responsibility, and green development into all aspects of its operations and to continuously improve the quality and positioning of its academic programs.
